PwC/Property Council Retirement Census
The PwC/Property Council Retirement Census is the most comprehensive aggregated data source about retirement villages in Australia. The Census profiles the physical characteristics of villages, ownership details, business attributes (e.g. tenure, financial structure, operating overheads), and resident profiles (e.g. demographics, length of stay).

The 2016 Retirement Census results were released on 28 November 2016 at the National Retirement Living Summit.
Operators who contributed data will be provided with their comprehensive report soon.

The 2015 PwC/Property Council Retirement Census was released on Thursday 20 August, and was the first Census to reach out to the entire retirement living industry. It is comprised of rich data from big and small operators across the industry representing more than 50 000 homes in retirement villages in Australia.
The 2014 PwC/Property Council Retirement Census was the first Census data collection, covering the Property Council’s Retirement Living Council member operators.
