PwC/Property Council Retirement Census
The PwC/Property Council Retirement Census is the most comprehensive aggregated data source about retirement villages in Australia. The Census profiles the physical characteristics of villages, ownership details, business attributes (e.g. tenure, financial structure, operating overheads), and resident profiles (e.g. demographics, length of stay).

CONTRIBUTING TO THE CENSUS
The data collection for the 2016 PwC/Property Council Retirement Census is now closed. Thanks to all of those organisations that contributed. The Census reports will be released in the second half of 2016.
All contributors will receive a comprehensive data report from PwC on how their village/s compare against national and state averages.
Retirement village operators or developers, whether members of the Property Council or not, are able to contribute data to the Retirement Census.

The 2015 PwC/Property Council Retirement Census was released on Thursday 20 August, and was the first Census to reach out to the entire retirement living industry. It is comprised of rich data from big and small operators across the industry representing more than 50 000 homes in retirement villages in Australia.
The 2014 PwC/Property Council Retirement Census was the first Census data collection, covering the Property Council’s Retirement Living Council member operators.
